Introducing: The CultivatorCon Awards

We take celebrating Cultivators seriously.

We want to hear the story of the workplace community that got you through this year, supported you on your best (and maybe worst) days, and spotlighted opportunities for your career development. We want to hear the story of the person in your network that’s been making waves and taking names! Have questions? Check out the FAQs at the end of the article.

We are accepting nominations for the following awards:

Cultivator of the Year - To a single person that exudes passion for their work, a serious commitment to making positive change, and is a Cultivator at heart.

Workplace Community of the Year - To an ERG or Workplace Community that is dedicated to seeking out and supporting Cultivators, giving them a sense of belonging and the tools to make lasting change. Learn more about what we mean here.

While we know everyone would appreciate cold, hard cash… budgets are tight. Sometimes a loud, proud, public shoutout can fill the void. We’re passing you the mic - shout out the workplace rockstars on your team and in your network. Give public praise to the workplace community that’s changed the game for you. Our ears are open, and we want to celebrate your faves with you! The submission deadline is January 11, 2023.

You might have questions, we definitely have answers!

  • A “Cultivator” is what we call an employee who is invested in making positive change within their organization. We believe they’re the future of business and we’re passionate about empowering Cultivators to make their ideas for change happen.

  • Yes! You gotta love (nominate) yourself before you love (nominate) anyone else 😉

  • The internal Cultivate Team will thoroughly review all nominations, specifically we’re looking for:

Impact - how many people, and to what extent, were positively affected by the work and/or initiative of the nominated Cultivator or Community?

Innovation - did the nominated Cultivator or Community do something completely out of the box to fill a need or solve a unique problem?

Company/Community Size - The mission of Cultivate is centered around making large companies empowering places to work. Preference will be given to Cultivators and Communities at companies that have more than 5,000 employees.
